Privacy Policy

MnM Rentals ("we," "us," "our") operates mnmrentals.net (the "Site"), through which guests can book vacation home stays and vehicle rentals in Spanish Fork, Utah directly with us. This policy explains what information we collect, why, and how we handle it.

Information we collect

When you send an inquiry, book a stay or vehicle, or reach out to co-host with us, we collect:

• Contact information — name, email, phone number.
• Trip details — dates, guest count, which stay or vehicle you're interested in, and delivery preferences for vehicle rentals.
• Payment information — processed directly by Stripe, our payment processor. We do not receive or store your full card number; Stripe handles that in accordance with its own security standards.
• Driver's license and proof of insurance — required for vehicle rentals booked directly through the Site, used solely to verify you're eligible to drive and insured to do so.

We do not use cookies or trackers to build advertising profiles. The Site may use basic, aggregate analytics (e.g., how many people visit a page) that don't identify you individually.

How we use your information

• To confirm and fulfill your booking, including sending confirmation, pre-arrival, check-in, and post-checkout messages.
• To verify eligibility to rent a vehicle (valid license and insurance).
• To respond to inquiries and provide customer support.
• To meet legal, tax, and insurance recordkeeping obligations.

We do not sell your information, and we don't share it with anyone outside of what's needed to run your booking (below).

Who we share it with

• Stripe — processes payments. Stripe's own privacy policy governs how it handles your payment details.
• Our booking and email systems (Supabase and Resend) — store your booking record and deliver trip-related emails on our behalf. Neither uses your information for their own purposes.

We do not share your driver's license or insurance documents with anyone beyond what's required to verify your rental eligibility and, if applicable, to file an insurance claim.

How we protect your information

Driver's license and insurance uploads are stored in a private, access-controlled system — they are never publicly accessible and are only viewed by Becky and Jake as part of confirming your rental. Payment details never touch our own servers; that's handled entirely by Stripe.

How long we keep it

We keep booking records (dates, trip details, and payment records) for as long as needed for our own business, tax, and insurance recordkeeping.

Driver's license and insurance documents are different. We delete those automatically about 90 days after your trip ends — the window exists only so we can support an insurance or damage claim raised after the fact. You don't need to ask; it happens on its own. If you'd like them removed sooner, email us and we'll take care of it.

Your choices

You can ask us at any time to see what information we have on file for you, correct it, or delete it (subject to what we're legally required to retain). Just reach out using the contact info below.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes in a meaningful way, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
