This agreement applies when you rent a vehicle directly from MnM Rentals through mnmrentals.net. It is separate from Turo — a booking made here is not a Turo trip and is not covered by Turo's protection plans. Booking a vehicle on this site means you agree to these terms.
These mirror the age rules that apply to our vehicles on Turo:
Young driver fees aren't charged at online checkout — if one applies to your booking we'll contact you to arrange it before your trip. We may decline a booking where the driver doesn't meet these requirements, with a full refund.
Your own insurance is primary. Utah requires us to tell you clearly: your own motor vehicle insurance policy, or your credit card benefits, may cover damage or loss involving this rental. You should confirm with your insurer or card issuer what they cover before your trip.
This rental is not covered by a rideshare or car-sharing platform's protection. Because you're booking directly with us rather than through Turo, no Turo protection plan applies to this trip. Any coverage that exists comes from your own policy and from our own commercial coverage — not from a platform.
Coverage applies only for the rental period stated on your booking. If you keep the vehicle past the agreed return time, you and we may have no coverage at all for that period. Return the vehicle on time, or contact us first to extend.
For rentals of 30 days or less, Utah law limits when a rental company can hold a driver responsible for damage to the vehicle. Consistent with that, we will not hold you liable for damage to the vehicle except where the damage happens:
Outside those situations, damage is handled through the applicable insurance rather than billed to you personally. Report any accident, damage, or theft to us immediately, and to the police where the law requires it.
Each vehicle includes a daily mileage allowance. Miles beyond that allowance are charged at the per-mile rate for that vehicle:

Fuel: return the vehicle with the same fuel (or charge) level it had at pickup. If it comes back lower, we may charge for the difference plus a refueling fee.
Please don't:
Cleaning beyond normal use — smoke odor, pet hair, spills, or excessive mess — may be charged at cost.
Unless you've arranged delivery, pickup and return are at Abbie Court Park, 1462 S 2050 E, Spanish Fork, UT. We'll send your key code and instructions before your trip starts.
If you chose airport or custom delivery, we'll confirm the exact spot and timing with you directly.
Late returns may be charged at the daily rate, and as noted above may leave the trip without coverage. If you need more time, contact us before your return time.
Payment is taken at booking through Stripe. Cancellations follow the cancellation policy in our Terms of Service: a full refund if you cancel at least 24 hours before your trip starts, and no refund inside that window or once the trip has begun.
We collect your driver's license and proof of insurance solely to confirm you're eligible to drive. They're stored privately, are never publicly accessible, and are deleted automatically about 90 days after your trip ends. See our Privacy Policy.
This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Utah. It works alongside our Terms of Service; where a vehicle rental is concerned and the two differ, this agreement applies.
